Really? Which darned Muslims is he talking about? The darned Ahmadiyya (Cult of Ahmed or Mohammed) ones, a cult started in British India in 1889 by a loon who claimed to be the Muslim Messiah, and whose followers soon schismed. Yes, all 10 million of them, compared to 1.5 billion real Muslims, whose Quran has always promoted Muslim superiority, inferiority and subjection of woman, and bloody conquest and enslavement of the non-Muslim world, as proved by history.
As to Pipes, he might have ventured a wee bit outside his field of expertise when he speculated on agriculture, but then, when he stays within his field of expertise he's usually right-on, and we both agree that Islamism sucks, and the Jewish state of Israel rocks, and will be here long after the truly desperate Muslim World is kaput.
