The King hearings are too narrowly focused, treating Muslims as all okay unless they show signs of radicalization. The truth is that all Muslims are ticking time bombs because they hand the Quran to their children to imbibe, and its orders are fixed in concrete that you're either with Allah or against him. Jihadists often come from the affluent and educated ranks, breaking with their own parents to do what the Quran tells them.
Yes, there's the First Amendment, but the Constitution isn't a suicide pact, is it? While the First Amendment made the U.S. great, it's only because Christians know that their holy writings don't order them to take over the world by force, and because Jews know that theirs only give them a green light to take over the Holy Land. The few Muslims in America until recently were powerless either way.
With Islam, however, their holy writings clearly command them to take over the whole world and set up governments where holiness in Allah's eyes trumps democracy, and this is why immigration from the Muslim world is a Trojan Horse that can only bring bad news, witness the Ft. Hood Jihadist, the Times Square Jihadist et al. Instead of trying to deal with Muslims in America and bend and twist our institutions and Constitution for them, why not just shut off the spigot? Congress needs to declare a moratorium on immigration from the Muslim world unless/until it changes as shown by dethroning Islam as the official religion and opening up to all religions. The Springtime for Arab Hitlers we're witnessing now might be the first stage of that, or it might backfire with Islamist takeovers and a unification into a nuclear-armed caliphate poised to obliterate Israel then come after us using American Muslims as a fifth column. The stakes are high, so when will Congress protect the People with a Capital P and do the wise thing?
