Is the GZ Mosque just a "community center with a prayer room in it"? Sorry, but before it became controversial Abdul Feisal Rauf placed ads for it describing it as having a mosque (Arabic for any place where Muslims gather and prostrate themselves to Allah in unison) that can hold 1,000 worshippers at a time - all looking down at Ground Zero, to thank him for the great victory that killed so many infidels and sent some lucky Muslims to paradise. And they want to break ground for it in 2011, the 1000th anniversary of a horrible Jewish pogrom in Cordoba, Spain. Muslims, in short, think we're all Islam history ignoramuses, and most of us are.
