Yemeni-Swiss Liberal: The Shari'a Is Unjust Dr. Elham Mane'a, a reformist of Yemeni origin living in Switzerland, recently posted a series of articles on the liberal website Metransparent.com in which she called for the secularization of the Muslim state. She called the shari'a, which is implemented by various Muslim states, unjust and outdated, and said that it impinges on the rights of the individual, of women, and of non-Muslims.
