Duh, McCarthy tried to get Communists to admit what they believed, and when they took the Fifth, got them on trumped-up charges of contempt of Congress, even if they were Communists, which often they were. With Muslims, the author must be referring to making them testify to Congress whether they are radicalized and accept the clear commands of Allah in the Quran to subject all non-Muslims to Muslim superiority Sharia after conquering their territory any way they can, including by migration or invasion. Guess, what, all Muslims believe in the Quran, and the so-called radicalized ones are just those who obey the commands in it, the rest selling out to Western wealth and ease. Let's say they all take the Fifth, then what? The author misses the key point that the Quran and the U.S. Constitution are totally at war, even more so than Das Kapital and the U.S. Constitution, but this time it's not possible to disguise allegiance to it like Communists did, because they have to pray publicly to Allah and follow the regulations of Sharia personally even if the govt. doesn't mandate them. So why not cut to the chase, which is the wisdom of permitting Muslim immigration to the U.S. when there's such a cataclysmic cultural conflict and Muslims can never truly assimilate, but only bide their time until their numbers build up and begin causing ceaseless trouble, as 1400 years of history has shown they do every time? No Muslim can truly swear allegiance to the U.S. Constitution, and if they do, Islam provides a way out for them called Taqiyya or holy lying, a dispensation from Allah to lie to gain a tactical advantage for the spread of Islam itself, so it can never be as simple as McCarthy-style hearings with oaths anyway.
