Steele is right on that a study of history shows the futility of trying to win a war in Afghanistan, so what's the big deal? Obama won't win there either, and after the U.S. pulls out the Taliban will relentlessly take the country back over, jumping with joy at all the billions in U.S. infrastructure and equipment they have gained. The Republicans could have had a great election issue had not Bush started the invasion, so call it a push. Instead of wasting ourselves in Afghanistan the U.S. should be saving up for an invasion and regime change in Iran. For years the Iranians have been laughing at how we waste ourselves on wild goose chases while they keep their centrifuges whirring and build ever-better missiles to deliver them to Israel, Saudi Arabia and anywhere else they please as they build themselves into a horrible superpower. http://historyscoper-islamwatch.blogspot.com/
