Sorry, but it's ridiculous for the country of Gaza to even exist. When the Arabs took over the Holy Land in the 7th cent., they took it all, and went on to take North Africa and cross Gibraltar into Spain. The amorphous ever-growing Borg-like conquest was called the Ummah. Eventually the Ottoman Turks took over the Ummah, yes, Muslims against Muslims, making Arabs into vagabonds without a country. During WWI, the Allies helped the Arabs throw off the Turks, but created the Palestine Mandate to give Jews a future homeland. After WWI, the Ottoman Empire collapsed, along with the caliphate, leaving Jews and Arabs jockeying for position, but WWII, the U.N., and history awarded Israel to the Jews, so why don't the Arabs accept it and move on? Yes, the U.N. provided for some kind of Palestinian state, but subsequent events have proved the folly of it because Muslims will never accept a Jewish state. Why lobby Israel to drop the blockade when they can lobby Egypt to drop their end of it and resettle them in their vast territory, such as Sinai? Answer: the Quran commands believers to conquer the world for Allah and never yield a single inch, promising the reward of paradise for martyrdom in defending the territory or trying to reconquer it. Hence, as long as Arabs are Muslim there will never be a peaceful solution to the Middle East until they leave, not the Jews.
