Sorry, but Islam isn't like other ideologies. From day one it's been about total supremacy, combined with intolerance, because it claims to get its orders from an omnipotent God through a final prophet who rules from the grave via an infallible book, and demands the world submit to Islamic Sharia, which automatically makes Muslims superior to non-Muslims and men to women. Hence the burqa is a symbol of Muslim superiority, and once it's allowed it will become like the Trojan Horse.
