Why is anybody Mirandized? Answer: in order to get a conviction using their big mouth that isn't thrown out of court. But with a mass murderer jihadist, they can always get a conviction without his statements, so what's the point? So it shouldn't be about convicting just him, it should be about locating his organization and stopping them before they stage another attack. Hence Eric Holder is hurting the U.S. in his hangup about scoring a conviction in court on the guy we've already caught. That the terrorist is a naturalized U.S. citizen shouldn't matter if he's part of an organization that's still at large anywhere in the world. About three minutes before his trial starts he can be Mirandized if they insist, but why do it at all when it's likely that the Allah Akbar will voluntarily testify in order to brag about his jihad to the rest of the Islamic world anyway? By the time his trial begins, the U.S. should have arrested umpteen of his associates and destroyed his network, or else it's failed its duty to the American people.
