Despite Pres. Obama's (and Pres. Bush's) misty-eyed view of Islam as a religion of peace, reality bites him on the rear time and again, so when will he wake up to the fact that Islam, the 7th cent. original version is at war with the U.S., and that all Muslim-Amreicans are ticking time-bombs, at war inside over their oaths to the U.S. and the commands of Allah in the 7th cent. Quran? Yes, it's nice to have a good job and nice house, but five times a day they face Allah's home in Mecca and give the Borgs another chance to absorb them. Hence it's the duty of the president to protect all the people by creating and maintaining a database of all Muslims living in, entering or leaving the U.S. to flag those who show signs of radicalization for heightened security measures, as well as leaving non-Muslims out of it. Visiting Pakistan is one such flag, as is buying large quantities of fertilizer. In Shahzad's case, it seems he could have gone around waving a scimitar and shouting Allah Akabar in Times Square and still been invisible to our current security apparatus. Relying on God to make terrorists too dumb to set off their own bombs is no strategy. Virtually every Islamist terrorist attack on U.S. soil could have been prevented with MIP, so it's a govt. problem and must be fixed at their level, not individual people being relied on to recognize a smoking bomb and call the cops and hope the bomb is a dud.
