Why do Canadians and Brits fall for govt. con jobs like this? From day one the govt. has been trying to invent a new category of marked people to trample on their constitutional rights under the guise of national security, and the term "terrorist" has been the new baby for their power grab. Of course there is no logical legal definition, else the govt. couldn't use it their way as a plastic term to fit anybody they want to target. Yes, after 9/11 it made sense for Congress to protect the people with special laws allowing the rights of FOREIGN ISLAMIC TERRORISTS to be trampled on, but it wasn't long before each administration began stretching it to cover their pet political enemies.
In Obama's case, it's white nativist movements. Obama has so reversed the truth that Islam supposedly has nothing to do with terrorism, and Muslims are part of the fabric of America and are the victims of terrorism, not real natives. Sorry, I'm not falling for it. If mass Muslim immigration results in "stans" where Muslim terrorist groups have safe haven, all patriotic American natives have the right to organize to fight them without the federal govt. moving in to trample their rights via a label that should only apply to the Muslims they're fighting. It's the Muslims whose goal is the destruction of the Constitutional republic, not the patriots. Is the govt. going insane? Congress should go back to the drawing boards and sharply limit so-called terrorism laws to only cover MUSLIM TERRORIST ORGANIZATIONS, else scrap the laws completely.
They should go further and pass a constitutional amendment that allows Islam to be exempted from First Amendment protections when it has a political component, and not wait for the courts to do it. They should then stop and reverse Muslim immigration and finally declare that the U.S. is at war with Islam as a political ideology, and will wage war until it ends the threat forever, starting within its own borders. In the meantime how bad will it get before the people take charge of their govt. again and preserve and protect the Constitutional republic?
