For once Salon is right about something. Yes, it would be wrong to reinvade Iraq. Why? Because it was wrong to invade in the first place, and wrong to leave, and it would just be wrong for the third time to reinvade. It was a pure lose-lose situation. To win, all along we should have left dictator Sodam Insane in power, in which case the region would still be stable with his sons ready to take over smoothly and keep it that way. Instead, we not only toppled him, but failed to apologize and set him back up in power and instead executed him, allowing the country to revert back to the thousand year old Sunni-Shiite civil war with us in the middle, and worse, went on to waste a trillion bucks trying to turn it into a satellite of Washington D.C. complete with a bust of George Washington without working to make the people apostasize from Islam first. We only hurt ourselves and strengthened the extemists on both sides, and now they can have it and immolate each other while we watch from a safe distance. Why send troops who have to respect copies of the Quran and other crap? If they're not fighting to help Muslims see that their ideology is a mental straightjacket of lies and frauds and that there's an alternative they're fighting for nothing.
Yes, apostasize. Only a Great Muslim Apostasy brought about by the Internet that causes hundreds of millions to tweet that they're chucking Islam, Allah, the Quran, Muhammad and his Great Jihad and dancing in the streets with Jews seeking to be absolved of their crimes and rejoin the human race will stop the horror. Until then we should keep a wide berth and back Israel 100% militarily.
