The Arab Spring is a direct result of Muslim-friendly Obama sending them signals that he won't continue propping up the dictators who cut deals to keep in power by giving up on their designs to exterminate Israel. Hence, he's rolling the dice and leaving Israel swinging in the wind at a time when Islamism is resurging, along with rabid anti-Semitism and talk of finishing Israel off and establishing a new caliphate. Knowingly or not, he's doing dead Allah and Muhammad a great service and playing into their hands in their commands to Muslims to dominate the world no matter how many have to die.
Meanwhile he ignores Iran and its feverish nuke program, preferring to arm Saudi Arabia, who will soon start their own nuke program which he also won't touch. Maybe he's hoping that the Muslims will exterminate each other and save Israel that way, but I don't think so, they're a 1-nuke solution to him - Iranian nuke, Saudi nuke, he doesn't care, he'll pretend to mourn while privately dancing on their graves. He plainly doesn't care about Israel any more than the Muslims do, and as a leftist I'm sure a lot of his fellow leftists think that it's an albatross around Uncle Sam's neck anyway. In short, he's abandoning the decades-long total commitment to Israel of previous presidents, and putting daylight between them. How he will get one Jewish vote in 2012 beats me, what does he care, their vote only counts in Fla. and a few other states, but if he's reelected Israel is in deep doo doo. 1967 borders? Israel's borders should be the Solomon borders, from the Euphrates to the Nile and the Mediterranean to the Jordan, with a wide DMZ to spot attacks coming from the horrible crazed Muslim world.
As a Historyscoper I know that Israel is here to stay, and one day hundreds of millions of Jews will enjoy a Biblically-sized Greater Israel in a Muslim-free Middle East, acting as a shining beacon of civilization for the world, while nobody remembers Obama's name anymore but us Historyscopers.
Meanwhile if I were Congress I'd vote in a trillion dollar stimulus for Israel's shale oil program so we can finally quit buying Saudi oil, and strengthen both countries for the long war to come. And override Obama's veto if necessary.
